New In: Beauty Christmas Gifts

Now, I dabbled with the idea of doing a ‘What I Got for Christmas’ post or video, but I don’t know, the idea just didn’t sit right with me. I love reading and watching that kind of content (I’m inherently nosy and they totally feed that!), but I didn’t really feel comfortable sitting down and showing you all the bits that I got for Christmas. But, since we like to talk about all things beauty round this neck of the woods, I thought I would show you the beauty bits I found under the tree. There’s not much to discuss, I don’t get much in the way of beauty for Christmas, because nobody ever knows what to get me, for fear I’ve already got it. However, I was lucky enough to find a few beauty treats under the tree, and they’re all loves, so here goes.First things first, I was lucky enough to find a bottle of my favourite perfume, Giorgio Armani Si under the tree. I ran out of this just before Christmas and happened to mention it to my dad, who picked me up a bottle in duty free whilst he was travelling for work in December. This is just my signature scent, it’s warm and vanilla-y, but it’s also slightly fruity, it’s got mandarin and cassis in. I got a 30ml bottle last year for Christmas, and it lasted me the whole year, this is the 50ml bottle so hopefully it’ll last me a while! I just love this perfume, I always get comments on them!I also gave my mum a little point in the direction of the Origins Mask Marvels set when it was on sale at Boots back in November, and being the doll that she is she picked one up for me. This set was such great value, three 75ml face masks for £23 (I think it was £50 full price) when one 100ml face mask will set you back £23 on it’s own. I’ve used Clear Improvement before (I still have a bit left so this one will go in the backups box!), and I love it, it’s great for clearing out any blocked pores, but I hadn’t tried the other two so it was a bit of a risk, but I LOVE them both. Out of Trouble is fantastic for clearing up breakouts, and I’ve been loving Drink Up Intensive for my dry winter skin!I’d always wanted to try the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors, but it was just one of those things I never got around to purchasing, so I was pretty chuffed to say the least when I unwrapped the Clarins All About Lips Gift Set. Inside is a pretty white makeup bag with two mini versions of the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors in (the shades 06 and 01), a mini lipstick and gloss too. So far so good, I’m loving all four, and I’m a sucker for mini lip products (the smaller they are, the more you can fit in your handbag).I’ve heard a few bits about Frank Body Scrubs, mostly from some of the Australian bloggers I follow, so I was pretty excited to see a pack of their Cacoa Body Scrub, under the tree. This stuff smells incredible, like chocolate, and it’s without a doubt the best body scrub I’ve ever used, I’m going to do a full review of this soon, so keep your eyes peeled! And lastly, inside my Christmas stocking (you’re never too old for stockings) was this adorable set of bath bomb cupcakes. I’m not entirely sure where they’re from (Santa’s Workshop, duh), but they smell totally delicious, and I’m super excited to have a giant bubble bath (or six!).So there are a few new beauty bits in rotation now! Have you tried any of these?
