I’ve not been shopping much this month, having had my shopping fix in the January sales, but there were a few bits that I’ve picked up here and there, and a sale purchase made after this post, so I thought it was time for a mini haul of sorts.
Firstly, the sale purchase that came after my boxing day sales haul. I’ve been looking for a new coat for the longest time, something warm, waterproof with a hood, that didn’t look too offensive (harder to find than you’d think). An impromptu trip to Bicester Village this month paid off and I found this black number in Maje, for less than a third of the original price. It’s incredibly thick and warm, waterproof, and I think it looks pretty swish.
I headed up to London for a few meetings last week, and stuck my head into Kikki K for a little restock. I picked up a new set of inserts for my Wellness planner, so I can get back into trying to be a little healthier (I’m always more likely to make healthy choices if I’m recording them!). I also picked up a new spiral bound notebook – I use these a lot for work and Kikki K has the best paper quality (total stationery nerd comment, I know). I also picked up a multipack of their fine tip ballpoints, which are my everyday pen of choice. Top tip – it’s worth signing up for the Kikki K members program, you get a £5 off coupon for your birthday + your Kikki K anniversary, which is always nice!
I thought I’d mention the magazines I picked up this month too, since my guide to independant magazines went down well with you guys! A lot of the magazines I read are quarterly anyway, but I try to buy different ones each month! Suitcase is one of my favourites, it feeds my wanderlust and was the inspiration behind my uni magazine project. I picked up this quarters 91 Magazine, because my awesome friend Verity had an article published in it, go her! I also picked up Frankie, which I LOVE, but I get frustrated that we can’t get ahold of it until 2/3 months after publication, sometimes the issues feel outdated because of that. I had a quick flick through this whilst I was in Wardour News though and it seemed like it would still be relevant so fingers crossed!
What have you bought this month?
