What I Wore In Mallorca

Mallorca was SO HOT that honestly wearing clothes at all felt like a struggle – I don’t think I’m cut out for temperatures above 30 degrees you know! There were definitely a few standout clothing pieces though, that didn’t make me feel like I was completely melting, and so definitely worth a mention.

One of my favourite outfits the whole trip was this Mango playsuit I picked up while we were out there! It’s super lightweight and stretchy, perfect for chucking on over a swimsuit, and not too form fitting (loose clothes were the aim of the game here!), and the wrap style front is super flattering. It was 10€ sale buy and worth every penny!

For a day exploring the city, I opted for an a-line denim mini skirt and tie waist tee combo. The H&M striped tee was nice and cool, but also protected my shoulders from the sun, and the denim skirt was super comfortable, and let me have my legs out in the sun!

This is one of my current outfit favourites! I picked up these loud floral print trousers in the Zara sale just before our trip and not only were they great for the evenings on our trip, they’ve become a bit of an officewear favourite too! The wide legged fit keeps me cool (whilst making sure my legs aren’t sticking together) and the print is so summery. I usually pair them with this cropped white Zara tee with a twist front, which has proved to be a very handy wardrobe staple, considering most of my trousers and tops are high waisted!

I got a lot of wear out of these sandals on this trip too! As much as they’re a bit of a pain to get on and off, they go with everything and when your ankles get a  little hot and puffy you can still wear them. I picked them up for our trip to Ibiza last year and they’ve been great, they’re currently on sale too!

I know, I know, I’ve been bleating on about this Mango dress for long enough now, but I couldn’t not mention it! I love the midi length, it’s linen so it’s light and breezy, and I’m a sucker for the wood effect buttons.

Linen has been a key feature of my Summer 2018 wardrobe, and these trousers from Stradivarius definitely kick started the love affair! They go well with plain tees or cute shirts, I dress them up with heeled sandals or down with Converse, they’re just a great versatile piece!

I never thought I’d be here talking about my love for a wicker bag but wow 2018 has been weird hasn’t it! I had been looking for the perfect wicker bag to add to my summer 2018 wardrobe, and I eventually found this one in a little store in Santanyi, for 25€. I love the circle shape and the soft leather straps, it’s the perfect casual summer bag!

Have you got any holidays planned this summer?
