Breakfast at Boscanova

Connor and I are big breakfast people. I mean, in all honesty, I don’t really trust people who don’t think breakfast is the best meal of the day. One of our favourite weekend activities is going for a lazy breakfast together, we try to do it at least once a week or so! One of our favourite spots for breakfast now we’re back home is Cafe Boscanova, a coffee lovers haven just outside town.

Chai Latte Cafe Boscanova

With fresh coffee beans provided by their big sister, South Coast Roast, the coffee here is incredible, but it’s the Chai Lattes that keep me coming back. Thick and creamy, with just the right amount of spice, they’re the perfect autumn beverage (although I’ll admit to ordering these year round!).

The only complaint with this place is there’s too many awesome options on the menu, it’s hard to pick just one! I normally opt for the Avocado Sourdough Toast, but this time, Con and I decided it was a pancake sorta morning!

Cafe Boscanova Pancakes

Two giant doorstop fluffy american pancakes, served up with maple butter, crispy bacon, a dusting of icing sugar and some maple syrup for good measure, and oh-good-god were these incredible. Perfectly cooked to be soft and fluffy on the inside, these were so good. Con dubbed them the best pancakes he’s ever had, which is high praise indeed!

They were so big that I couldn’t actually finish them, but we will for sure be ordering these again! I also love that they do a Gluten free version, which I’m assured tastes just as good!

The fact that by the time we left on Sunday (around 11am) there wasn’t a spare seat in the house I think is testament to how good this place is! If you’re ever in Bournemouth, I’d definitely recommend checking Cafe Boscanova out!
