Skincare may be more exciting to me than makeup, give me a bottle of something that claims to transform my face into a smooth, glowing paradise of health and you best believe I’ll be spending money faster than you can say ‘retinol’. I love skincare, and firmly believe it’s where you should be investing your beauty bucks. With that in mind, I’m often picking up something new to try (or you know, a few new things), and so I thought I’d share some of my current favourites. Some of these are new, some are just new to me, but all of them are winners.

Saturday Skin Wide Awake Eye Brightening Cream.
Under eye bags are the bane of my existence. Being super anaemic, as well as deficient in just about every vitamin going, and a perpetual insomniac, I’m not expecting miracles. But what I am looking for is a brightening eye cream that can add a boost of hydration, help my makeup sit better, and help prevent any pesky ageing. This Saturday Skin number ticks all those boxes, it’s light enough that it sinks in fast, but still packs a hydrating punch. It’s not heavily fragranced which is a big no for me, it’s illuminating, and cooling too, so helps soothe tired undereyes. It also has a pump so no getting half the product under your nails while you dig your fingers into a pot. I used a whole deluxe sample size of this before committing to the full size and I’m really pleased with it. Buy it here.

Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum.
I LOVE the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Mask, so was super keen to try more from the brand. This serum sounded right up my street, promising to smooth skin texture whilst natural AHAs exfoliate the skin for a glow boost. This has become my go to serum in the mornings, and when I use this continually, my skin only seems to get brighter and smoother. Buy it here.

Patchology Down Time Gels.
You guys know I love an eye mask, to cool, to depuff, to hydrate or just to soothe. The Patchology Hydrate Eye Gels are a favourite of mine for early mornings, and hungover days, or when I’m too tired to concentrate, so when I saw these Down Time patches, I just had to try them. Infused with soothing tea extracts, calendula, camomile, and lavender, they’re a delightfully relaxing treat for the evenings. A bit of a princess product, probably, yes, but a nice soothing treat for the eyes. Buy them here.

Saturday Skin Quench Intense Hydration Mask.
I love me a mask, and this one from Saturday Skin is so good, I’ve just stocked up. The perfect pick me up for skin that needs a good hydration boost, it’s packed with goodness like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, it’s a great skin treat. I love this for after days in the sun when my skin feels a little tight and dry. Buy it here.
