My Favourite Princess Products

I love a good princess product. You know the ones, they’re not essential to your beauty routine, but they make you feel good and that’s all that really matters? We all have them in our routines, the products we love to use but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if we didn’t have them. I’ve noticed recently there are a few of these kinds of products in my routine that I just love, and thought I’d share them with you today in case you’re having a treat-yo-self moment!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: This product does really work but I’m classifying it as a ‘Princess product’ because you don’t really need it, you could just use a lip balm. Essentially that’s all it is, a thick berry scented lip balm that you apply before bed to give your lips a boost of hydration. It’s great, but does it do more than any other lip balm? Probably not. I still find myself reaching for it night after night though!

Rose Quartz Roller: I love my rose quartz roller, I use it every night without fail to massage serums into my skin, to cool my eyes, for a little facial massage at the end of the day. I’ve definitely got my money’s worth, I use it so much, but is it something you need? Probably not. Other than feeling nice, I’ve not noticed it makes a difference to my skin, so unless you fancy parting with £30 for a nice facial massage, it’s pretty unnecessary.

Sephora Eye MasksI ADORE the Sephora eye masks, they’re the perfect thing for tired eyes, cooling and soothing. I use them when I’m tired, hungover, jetlagged, on a plane, all the time. But do they actually do anything? No, I don’t think so. The may have a slight depuffing effect due to the coolness, but they don’t really hydrate or help with dark circles. I love them and I’ll continue to buy and use them because they feel great, but do you need them? No.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray: I’ve always had a bottle of this on hand for the last five or six years or so, I enjoy the routine of spritzing this onto the bedding when I’m getting ready for bed, and then cosying myself up into a lavender scented haven. All that being said, a cheap lavender essential oil would do the same thing, and not cost £15 a bottle.

Too Cool For School Coconut Milky MistI feel like facial sprays are the original ‘Princess product’ because by and large they don’t actually do all that much. I love this coconut face spray, it smells delicious and it’s super refreshing, especially on tired skin first thing in the morning, but if I skipped over it my skin wouldn’t know the difference. It’s a nice extra step, but certainly not one you need.

They might not be necessary, but I do love all these products! Do you have a princess product you love?
