Hitting you today with part two of my Sydney City Guide, because this city was SO good you couldn't possibly hit the highlights in one post. We've got a bit of a mix of spots this time around so without further ado, let's get into it!
THE GROUNDS OF ALEXANDRIA
Quite possibly the dreamiest place on earth, never mind in Sydney, The Grounds is a suburban oasis of flora, coffee and weirdly, a pig. This spot boasts multiple eateries, including a coffee shop, pizza oven, barbecue grill and more upmarket evening spot, hidden among leafy canopies, floral displays and carts selling fresh lemonade and homemade donuts. You'll find Kevin Bacon, resident pig, hidden at the back amongst the chickens and goats, as well as a florists that stocks fresh blooms and homemade candles and bath products. You could easily while away a day here with delicious food, hot coffee, and beautiful surroundings.

WET N WILD SYDNEY
If water parks are your bag, they don't come better than Sydney's own Wet N Wild park. Highlights include the lazy river, big rubber ring slides, and the frozen drink shack. Get here early, as it gets pretty busy on sunny days, and hit the popular slides first, but if you're looking for a great day out, this is it.

ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN SYDNEY
I'm not normally a fancy gardens kinda gal, but these gardens are exceptional. A stones throw from the iconic Sydney Opera house, check out the Palm House, Herb Garden, Wild Flower Meadow, and enjoy a beer in the cafe at the centre. Expect to see cockatoos, kookaburras, and some scarily huge spiders.

MITCHELL ROAD ANTIQUE WAREHOUSE
A bit of a different entry here, we stumbled upon this one day after breakfast at The Grounds. It's a giant warehouse facility off the main road, filled with an absolute trove of vintage and antique treasures. Even if you're not in the market for anything, it's a cool place to poke around, we spotted a room full of functioning neon signs, vintage Tab Cola bottles, a gorgeous antique rocking chair and the biggest collection of Marvel paraphernalia you've ever seen.

THE BOATHOUSE HOME
Visiting the Boathouse's homeware store in Palm Beach really fired up my desire to finish up the flat when we got home! The beautiful store is an extension of the Boathouse restaurants scattered around Sydney, and stocks the dreamiest beach inspired homeware you ever did see. I couldn't fit anything in my suitcase, but I did pick up a candle and a catalogue to flick through for inspiration!
