A Little Bath and Bodyworks Sale Haul

Let’s be honest, it was inevitable that my trip to New York would find me in a Bath and Bodyworks store, it was only a matter of time. The fact there was a sale on only intensified my need to get there RIGHT AWAY to blag as many bargains as humanly possible.

My love for Bath and Bodyworks products shouldn’t be news to any of you, it’s a staple visit for any trip I take to the US and I’ve been known to source candles from other fans over on Facebook. What can I say, I’m an addict, and particularly when it comes to candles I don’t think they can be beat! I love the scent throw and how they seem to have every scent I’ve ever wanted! That being said I think I did a pretty good job of being restrained, mostly because I was concerned about the weight of my suitcases!

Now I really must stress that this sale was RIDICULOUS, a lot of things were 75% off which is just crazy! The body creams were $3.25 down from $13.50 which is pretty nuts (works out as less than £2.50!), so I picked up two, Spiced Pumpkin Cider and Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte.

Despite both being pumpkin themed scents, they smell very different, Spiced Pumpkin Cider has a more fruity base, it smells just like hot spiced apple cider, whilst Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte is warmer, cosier, more woody and wintery. I’ve been reaching for Spiced Pumpkin  Cider in the mornings and Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte in the evenings and I’ve never enjoyed moisturising so much!

I love the Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte scent so much that I also picked up the body scrub. This was $4 down from £16.50 for a generous 80z tub, and I only tend to use a body scrub once a week so I can see this lasting me a while! It smells incredible and when used in conjunction with the moisturiser I can still smell the scent on my skin at the end of the day.

Connor and I are big fans of the Bath and Bodyworks Foaming Hand Soaps, they’re not at all drying but they foam up nicely and make your hands feel really clean. I just picked up the one bottle because we already had a few at home, but I couldn’t resist the Vanilla Chai scent! At $3.25 a bottle down from $6.50, I wish I’d picked up one or two more!

The Bath and Bodyworks three wick candles were all $10 in the sale, and they’re usually $22.50 so that’s a pretty great deal. I managed to whittle my basket down to four and I’m SO happy with what I picked up.

I repurchased Black Teakwood and Baby It’s Cold Outside (Fireside), which are two favourites of mine. Black Teakwood is reminiscent of that Abercrombie and Fitch scent, and Fireside literally smells like a smoky bonfire (it’s nicer than it sounds I promise!).

Two new purchases, I grabbed Campfire Donut, which is a lovely balance between sugary sweet and woody, and Cinnamon Rum Raisin which has notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and spiced rum.

And lastly, a couple of odds and ends! I picked up two refills for my car scentportable – a visor clip in my car and fill with wonderful scents. They didn’t have a whole lot in stock but I grabbed Pomegranate and Watermelon Lemonade, both of which I think will be great for Spring and Summer!

I really didn’t need any more Pocket Bac Hand Sanitizers (I have a whole tub of backups) but I couldn’t resist picking up one in Warm Vanilla Sugar. I’ve had this one before and it’s such a lovely scent, I’ve put it straight in my handbag!

So there we go, those are the bits I picked up! Pretty restrained compared to previous trips but since I already had a big ol’ shelf full of Bath and Bodyworks candles I thought I’d best keep things simple!
