And just like that we have the last of my New York Hauls! The amount I bought I thought we’d never reach the end. Today I’m talking you through the everything else pile, the bits and pieces that didn’t fit any other category. Let’s make it very clear that after all this, I’m banned from shopping for a while!
Let’s dive straight in with the bits I picked up from Starbucks. I always pick up a Starbucks City Mug from wherever I travel to, in place of a tacky fridge magnet or other souvenir. I’m super pleased with the New York one, it’s got beautiful inky blues and bright yellows, it’s quite different to the others in my collection! I also picked up two tree ornaments in the sale, a pretty copper cafetiere, and a New York themed to go cup, to add to my little Starbucks ornament collection!
I made a point of popping into Papersource (aka stationery heaven) during the trip, I found two in the city but my favourite was the one inside the Rockefeller Centre. It was well stocked, well layed out and difficult to leave without one of anything! In the end I picked up a few bits, starting with a gorgeous set of Rifle Paper Co notepads – they always seem to be cheaper in the US than the UK! I love this set with the delicate pinks and dark blues, super pretty, and I always find these notepads really handy.
I also picked up a Papersource Adhesive Sticker, a pretty pink fabric cat emblazoned with Cat Lady. I’ve popped this on the front of my bullet journal and it’s super cute.
I couldn’t resist picking up this cute days of the week washi tape either, I love the pink and gold foil combo, and it looks super pretty in my bullet journal. Also for the cute factor, I grabbed this sheet of succulent stickers, cause LOOK AT THEM. This little set of calendar stickers made their way home with me too, they’re great for marking events in my monthly planner.
If you read my clothing haul, you’ll know I purchased a ring in the infamous Catbird store in Brooklyn. I ended up also grabbing this cute box of Catbird matches, I love having cute match boxes about the house and is there anything sweeter than these?
And finally, Anthropologie in Chelsea Market had one hell of a sale on, it would have been rude not to peak, right? I wanted to buy endless plates and mugs and glasses but I couldn’t see them making it back to England in one piece, so I settled for a single candle. I picked up Hot Buttered Rum which smells every bit as delicious as it sounds, and was in the sale for a mere $6 – bargain, no?
There we go, that’s me all hauled out for a while! Have you bought anything recently?
