What’s In My Shower

Over the last year or so, I’ve been really fickle with my shower products. I can’t help it, it seems like each trip to Boots, Lush or even the supermarket. That being said, for the last couple of months things have been pretty consistent. I’ve found products that work for me, and I’ve stuck to them, so today I thought I’d show you my in shower favourites of the moment!

So starting with shampoo, I’m pretty fussy about shampoo and I have to admit, this is the one product in the lineup I’m not totally in love with. It’s the John Freida Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Shampoo, and whilst it does soften my hair up and make it look silky smooth, it makes my scalp a little itchy, so I probably won’t be in a hurry to repurchase.

When it comes to conditioner, I’m much less fussy. Day to day, I’ll use anything that’s on offer and marketed as ‘hydrating’ – my hair is gasping for moisture right now. Once a week though, I like to use the Bleach London Silver Conditioner, just to stop my highlights from going too brassy. It’s a super effective toner, but it doesn’t strip your hair at all like others I’ve tried.  I also always keep a tube of Phillip Kingsley Elastisizer on hand for when my hair needs a little extra TLC.

I’ve got two body washes on the go at the moment, one I use for AM showers, and one for pre bedtime washes. I’m totally hooked on the Bath and Bodyworks Purrfect Pumpkin Body Wash, it’s thick and lathers up a treat, and the sweet pumpkin scent really stays with you all day. And whilst I adore that, I just can’t give up my Lush Twilight Shower Gel for evenings. It’s the perfect addition to my evening routine, it’s lavender scent is like a calming blanket!

Speaking of Lush, you’ll notice there’s quite a few of their products here! I just LOVE their skincare and, more to the point, my skin does too. I have the Kalamazoo Face Wash for day to day use, it softens & brightens a right treat, and Let The Good Times Roll for when I need something a little scrubby. I also have a tub of Christingle Body Conditioner which I use if my skin is feeling a little dry.

And that’s about it!

What have you been loving in the shower lately?
