An Anthropologie Wardrobe Addition

Dressing for this weather is hard. One minute the sun is shining and the air is still, and the next there’s a torrential downpour. It’s left me feeling pretty despondent about the state of my wardrobe, so a few purchases were in order. One particular piece I picked up in Anthropologie last month definitely needed a post of it’s own!

I was perusing Anthropologie on a sunny Friday in Bath. I’d just been paid and I was having a wonderful day, I’d had a leisurely lunch, a little beer, and things were good. I managed to restrain myself from buying ALL the knitwear downstairs (Hey Anthro, why you so expensive?!), but after finding this skirt in the sale section, I couldn’t resist.

It’s a soft blue, lightweight fabric, an a-line cut that’s not too short. I love the bow detail, and the giant pockets (any skirt or dress with pockets gets an immediate thumbs up from me), and I think it’s going to be a super versatile piece. I’ve paired it here with a Zara breton tee, mustard scarf and All Saints sandals (I’ll try and link what I can find online below, or something similar!), but I’m also looking forward to pairing it with a chunky knit, black tights & boots.

And I can’t complain about the price either! Originally priced at £88 (no, I’m not at a point in my life where I can justify nearly £90 on a skirt. Can anyone?), there was an extra 20% off the markdown price making this a steal at £35. It’s comfortable, well made, and I think it’ll go with a lot of my wardrobe!
