My Favourite London Burger Spot

Whenever I’m in London and craving burgers, you can bet I’ll be hitting up Honest Burger. Ever since my girl Daphne introduced us a few years back, Honest and I have been practically inseparable.

Honest Burger have helped with my addiction by kindly opening multiple locations across London, my favourite tucked behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus. They aren’t often the roomiest of establishments, and they’re pretty much always rammed, but the small menu means you’ll always be fed quickly, even if you have to wait twenty minutes for a  table.

Honest pride themselves in only using the best British ingredients, and that’s the real draw here – all the food tastes so fresh and wholesome. Okay, so burgers aren’t the healthiest of meals, but at Honest you can rest easy knowing your cheat meal isn’t so bad for you.

Whilst I tend to mix up my drink order (I love the mint lemonade, but often can’t resist the Icelandic Einstok Beer), my food order never wavers. I’m all about the namesake Honest burger, perfectly cooked medium well beef, topped with red onion relish, smokey bacon, cheddar and pickles + lettuce, it’s a classic choice. Served in a lightly toasted brioche bun, with a side of salty rosemary fries, hand cut from fresh potatoes, skins still intact. It’s a flavour party for your mouth, the fresh ingredients are packed with taste – I challenge anyone not to groan at first bite (so far everyone I’ve taken has failed at that).

If the menu alone doesn’t have you tempted, there’s the added bonus of the fantastic staff, who are always incredibly attentive & friendly. A fun atmosphere is such an important part of dining out for me, and I have yet to step foot in an Honest Burger that lacks that.

And the best bit? The price. You can get a burger & fries and change from a tenner, and where else in London can you get that?

Are you a burger fan like me?
