Lovely Things #7

It’s been so long since I’ve done a Lovely Things post – mostly because it’s been hard to see the lovely things with everything that’s been going on recently.
But my main goal in July is to find the little happy in every day, so that’s what I’m doing today!

My new phone case. In May I ‘fell’ into Kate Spade and left with this beauty. Aside from the fact that it’s true, I really do need a vacation, just looking at it makes me feel happy and smiley. It’s also a great quality phone case, and the 20% off was a nice added bonus!

Fresh Peonies. I practically squealed with delight when I spotted fresh peonies at £5 a bunch in my local supermarket. I just love how gorgeous they are – I know they’re something of a blogger cliche these days but I just couldn’t care less. Who could resist these pretty pink petals?

The Victoria’s Secret Semi Annual Sale. A date I always mark in my diary. VS bras fit me like no other, so when they start selling them all off for £14 a piece, I take it upon myself to stock up them. This year I picked up a beautiful soft grey racerback tshirt bra, a deep burgandy lacy number, a VS Angel hoodie that’s super soft and a handful of cute panties at £3 a pair.

A Mani Pedi. The wonderful team at Farfetch invited me to DryBy for an afternoon of pampering at the end of last month, and it was much appreciated. My toes have never looked so good! It was the perfect place to chat to a great group of girls, sip prosecco and be pampered! I may or may not have placed a cheeky order on the Farfetch website last week, so keep your eyes peeled to see what I splurged on!
My new bed. I recently got a new bed for my room at home and I’m so pleased with it – I barely want to get out of it! Not only is the new frame prettier, and less imposing on the room, the mattress is the most comfortable thing in the world. It’s like the bed is hugging you when you climb into it, and that can only be a good thing, right?

Unexpected Happy Mail. I opened my mailbox last week to find a bubble mailer from my friend Allie in Brighton, with a little note and a tshirt inside. Not only was this the sweetest gesture ever, but the tshirt actually says my cat’s name on it. Yes I called my cat Astrophe. Yes I have the best friends ever.
What are your little happy things from the last week?
