The Runners Up: 2014 Beauty Favourites

When I was picking my 2014 favourites, there were so many that ALMOST, made the cut, but not quite, and whilst I didn’t want to end up with a 30 minute video, I still felt that these deserved a mention, so welcome the runners up!First up, lets talk about the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser. This missed out on being included purely because I didn’t get it until the end of the year, and I felt like including it would be a bit of a cheat really. But, it’s an AMAZING product, and definitely one of my favourite discoveries this year. I also debated over including the MAC Mineralize Concealer, which is one of my favourites for undereyes, but I sort of forgot about this for six months in the middle of the year. Either way, awesome product, one I’ve just repurchased.I sort of forgot completely about this blush when I was thinking about my 2014 favourites, because it really should have made the cut. It’s the NARS Blush in Deep Throat, awful name, awesome blush. It’s the perfect peachy pink shimmer blush, it’s subtle, and it’s perfect for everyday.I picked up the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour Eyeshadows in the Summer whilst I was in New York, and in all honesty, these have ruined every other cream shadow for me, because none compare. I also picked up the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara on the same trip, and that was love at first swipe. Thick fluttery lashes in one quick swish. Two lip products that I didn’t mention, the first NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella, which just missed the mark purely because I haven’t worn it that much. This is however, my go to red lip, one of few I feel comfortable and confident wearing. I also wanted to mention the Maybelline The Elixir glosses, which I now own four of. They’re soft and balmy, pigmented, and have a beautiful glossy finish, with a good colour selection. I use all four all the time, they’re great everyday options. And a hair product worth a mention, the It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In Treatment, which has kept my hair healthy and hydrated, and easy to manage.Did you have any beauty favourite runner ups?
