The Skincare Series: Tired Skin Revivers

Something I suffer with a lot, being something of an insomniac, is my skin looking dull and tired. There are a few products I rely on to perk up my skin in the mornings, so I don’t look somewhat zombie like.

Pixi Glow Tonic: this is an acid exfoliator, which gently takes away dead skin cells, leaving fresh skin behind. It’s really gentle, just one pump on a cotton pad over the face and your skin instantly looks brighter.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir: I tend to keep this to hand throughout the day for if my skin is looking tired, or I need refreshing. The essential oils really give the skin an added boost of life, and it’s cooling too.

Origins Ginzing Moisturiser: super light moisturiser, with a gel like texture, and it smells like orange sherbert. Even the scent is refreshing. It contains caffiene to wake up your skin, and keeps you hydrated, so your skin looks plump and healthy.

Origins Ginzing Eye Cream: this eye cream smells the same as the afformentioned moisturiser, but it contains brightening, reflective particles that help disguise under eye circles. A Monday morning must have.

Lush Let The Good Times Roll: you know the deal with this by now I’m sure. A gentle manual exfoliant that empties pores and scrubs away dead skin cells brilliantly.

Kiko Peeling Mask: if I have a spare five minutes in the morning I like to pop this on, it’s really moisturising, but it also brightens up your skin, and it’s noticeable straight away.

Have you tried any of these products? What do you use when your skin is tired?
