Another Christmas Gift Guide

I realised, looking back through my previous gift guides – the book guide and the big ol’ guide, that I still had a selection of gifts I wanted to address. So today, I’m presenting one more gift guide, with some personalised gifts, some bigger gifts, and just some general gifts that you really can’t go wrong with.
So let’s start with a few personalised items. Recently the online gifting store I Just Love It got in touch and asked if I wanted to pick out a few gifts for my loved ones from their site. I’ve had some bits from them before and was really impressed with the quality so DUH I said yes because I wanted to share the love.
The first gift I picked out was for my mum. We lost our beloved labrador this year, and home has felt a little weird without her. My mum had her collar tag on her keys, until we realised it probably wasn’t the best idea to have our address on the house keys… so when I spotted this beautiful Walnut Wood Dog Key Ring. It’s an incredibly well made key ring and a good size too – not too big or too small, and I got it engraved with Teaser’s name. It was dispatched less than three days after I placed my order, so there’s plenty of time to grab one before Christmas. It’s no substitute for our best girl, but at £14.99 it’s a well priced, good quality little reminder of her.
Personalised pet blanket
Sticking with the pet theme, my sister has a reoccurring problem where our cat follows her round the house, shouting, until she’s picked up and allowed to snuggle into her dressing gown – meaning my sister’s dressing gown is always covered in cat slobber and fur – nice. I spotted this personalised furry blanket and thought it would make a perfect distraction. I had it personalised with Willow’s name (the cat, not my sister), and it arrived a week after I placed my order. It cost £24.99 and the cat loves it (so much so she keeps winking!), and my sister loves not being harassed.
One of my favourite gifts to give (and receive) is pyjamas – and M&S have seriously upped their PJ-game this year. There’s every type, colour and style of pyjamas you could possibly imagine. I picked up these soft grey star pyjamas for myself, coming in at £25, but there are literally tons of options, whatever your budget or style. Definitely worth checking out.
HP Sprocket Printer Review
Connor bought me a little gift for my travels, and I’ve been so impressed with it, it just had to go in the gift guide! It’s a HP Sprocket Printer, which prints dinky 2”x3” photos. It’s perfect for filling up my travel journal with pretty snaps, but it’d be great for anyone who loves taking photos! It’s not a cheap gift at £100 – but it’s one of those things that people aren’t likely to buy themselves, but would LOVE to receive as a gift.
Now, I know we live in a world where everyone’s watching Netflix, Hulu & Amazon Instant Video, but come Boxing Day, there’s nothing more satisfying than snuggling up with a boxset of your favourite series. HMV have a giant selection available online, I’ve got my eye on the Hobbit boxset – isn’t that just perfect Boxing Day viewing?!
Comic Book Coasters
I love gifting homeware bits and bobs, this year I’ve been going wild on the Anthropologie website for a lot of my gift giving needs. One more bit I picked up from I Just Love It though, was a set of comic book coasters for my sister’s boyfriend. They’ve recently turned our spare bedroom into a mini living room, and have been cosy-ing it up, so I figured these would be perfect for the endless cups of tea they’ve been drinking in there on their new coffee table. They were £6.99 and there’s eight different designs, so you get a lot of bang for your buck.
And lastly, if you know any big kids, you can’t go wrong with a PopVinyl! My sister’s boyfriend recently bought me a Marceline Pop Vinyl from Adventure Time, and I bloody love it. Whether it’s Disney, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones or Sherlock Holmes, you’re guaranteed to find one for that difficult person in your life.
I hope this will help with some of those difficult people on your gifting list! I think I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping now, with just one or two super difficult people left to buy for. I’m hoping to get them done this week so I can stop worrying and start enjoying the Christmas build up!
Have you gotten started with your Christmas shopping yet?
This post is in collaboration with HMV & I Just Love It – as always this does not affect my thoughts shared!
