Another month, another edit of awesome products for you to spend your hard earned pennies on. There’s no theme this month, just 5 products I know I’ll be getting a lot of use out of over the next couple of weeks!
Let’s start with a couple of products from Nyx! Nyx recently launched into Boots stores and is now more accessible in the UK than ever. My most used product from the brand is their Tinted Brow Gel, think of it as a budget version of Benefit’s Gimme Brow. It’s super affordable, a good colour match (I use the shade Chocolate) and a seriously easy way to get organised, fuller looking brows in a matter of seconds!
Also from Nyx, I thought I’d give a little mention to the Soft Matte Lip Creams. I was super pleased to spot these in Boots as I’d recently run out of the shade Stockholm, a peachy nude that I picked up on my last trip to the States. I repurchased Stockholm, and also picked up Monte Carlo, a bold, blue toned red that packs a serious punch. I love these because despite being matte they’re comfortable, easy to apply and really longwearing – just make sure you moisturise your lips first!
I picked the Makeup Forever Excessive Lash Mascara out of my mascara stash a few weeks back, and I’ve really been loving it. It’s just a good all round mascara, a traditional natural bristle wand that’s great for adding length and volume, and a formula that isn’t too wet, too dry, or too clumpy. I’m really pleased with this, and I think it’ll become a go to for everyday!
Since picking it up last month I’ve been totally hooked on the L’Oreal Glam Bronze de Soleil Cushion Bronzer. I love applying a little of this under my cheekbone with my finger, and blending it out with my Beauty Blender for a natural glowy finish. It’s really longwearing for a liquid product, and despite being one-shade-suits-all, it actually blends out really beautifully.
And lastly, a quick mention to a current multitasking saviour of mine, the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Faintly Fabulous. I use this as a highlight, blush, and eyeshadow – I love these kind of products with multiple colours you can use individually, or swirl together for a glowy, bronzey glow. Definitely going to be a great one for travel!
